This flavour combo is so refreshing and cooling...it's perfect for warmer days.
I've made it thicker like ice-cream in a bowl and eaten it with a spoon too. It's so yummy both ways.
I can't help but add some type of vegetable to my smoothies and this time it's spinach. It creates such a nice colour with the yellow and orange from the pineapple and mango.
RECIPE
Ingredients
If making a smoothie...
- Around 1/2 mango
- Around 1/2 - 3/4 cup of pineapple
- A big handful of spinach
- Around 1 cup of coconut milk
- 1 serve of collagen (or vanilla protein)
If making a smoothie bowl (healthy ice-cream!)
- 1/2 - 3/4 cup frozen mango
- 1/2 - 3/4 cup frozen pineapple
- A big handful of spinach
- A splash of coconut milk
- 1 serve of collagen (or vanilla protein)
- Blitz all ingredients in a high speed blender until smooth.
- If making a smoothie bowl, you'll need to stop the blender & move the ingredients around a few times to make sure everything is blitzed up nice & smooth.
