There’s spinach in here which is a great source of iron & there’s an orange in here which is a great source of Vitamin C... The benefit of this combo is that Vitamin C helps to facilitate the absorption of iron into our system.
Drink with a handful of nuts to help lower the GI & you’ve got yourself a perfect morning or afternoon snack.
This is a really yummy, quick & refreshing smoothie that makes our bodies so happy! Kids love this one too.
RECIPE
All you need is...
1 ripe banana
1 orange
a big big handful of spinach
around 1 1/2 cups of coconut water
Optional: cucumber
Method
Blitz everything in a food processor or blender until smooth
Pour into a tall glass or jar, add your fave reusable straw & enjoy!
